Following the Southeast Asia gathering, Indigenous youth leaders and representatives from the South Asia and Mekong Region met on August 27–28, 2026, at Lomunu Learning Center in Sabah, Malaysia, to share the realities of their communities and discuss common struggles. These exchanges contribute to developing a Regional Indigenous Youth Situationer and advancing a joint mechanism for stronger coordination and collective action among Indigenous youth across the region.
